*UPDATE* - Media molecule's opinion

I sent a few pics of my plush to Media Molecule to see what they thought and I actually got a response...

"Thanks for this – it’s excellent! Sent it round here and we like. Comments so far are “Headshape win!” and “That’s the best one I’ve seen I think!” (personal opinion obviously, so don’t go on the interweb and tell everyone that Mm say yours is officially the best ;)

Brilliant work, well done"

Maybe I'm being naughty posting this but I can't help it! But as the nice lady said, it's just their personal opinion and not that of Media Molecule as a whole (although in my head it is!).

So they're not just a great developer, they're nice people too :)

Anyway, onto the details...

What I thought would be a quick and easy project ended up dragging out for weeks. I will never make another plushy as long as I live!

I can't knit so I used an old jumper, and the zipper is entirely hand made with super sculpey (I'm a stickler for details!).

He's not perfect but overall I'm very happy, and, in my opinion, is much closer to the actual character than the official toys you can get from Play Asia.

If you didn't already know, this is SackBoy from Media Molecules Little Big Planet, an amazingly original PS3 game.

Thanks for all the great comments. Unfortunately I won't be making a tutorial, and the pattern was nothing but a few rough sketches which have long since gone to doodle heaven. Anyways, you can buy an official plush for about £10 which I would have done if they were available at the time!

I love him and he is definetly the best I've seen.
I think the zipper is what I most admire. I can't believe the thought and work you put into that for accuracy!
You did a great job on every detail, and he looks so happy!
